Choosing the perfect round wall mirror

Frequently Asked Questions

Wall mirror questions

How does it hang?

Framed wall mirrors come with D-rings, hooks or a bracket on the back, and some of the larger pieces use a cleat that spreads the load. Weights are on the product page, and anything heavy should go into a stud or a proper anchor. Want to see the back before you buy? Ask and we'll send a photo.

Can it hang landscape or portrait?

Many rectangles hang either way, and the product page says so. A few hang one way only. If the page doesn't say, just ask.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Most framed mirrors with metal or sealed frames are perfectly happy in a bathroom, and all our glass is copper-free. Just keep solid timber frames away from the shower.

Can I use it outdoors?

Only the mirrors sold as garden mirrors. Indoor mirrors aren't made for rain, even under a verandah.

How far does it sit off the wall?

About the depth of the frame: 10mm for slim metal frames, up to 50mm for timber and ornate ones. It's on the product page, or ask and we'll measure one for you.
